Betty FriedanOn February 4th, Betty Friedan died. She was 85 years old and her contributions to the women’s movement were phenomenal. Can you imagine my surprise when I realized that the Quotations Page had NO quotations from her?!

The Feminine MystiqueShe was the author of the book, The Feminine Mystique and her work helped millions of women stop living their lives through their husbands and children and start fulfilling their own dreams.
