Improving our Quote Search

July 28th, 2006 by Michael Moncur in Site News

If you’re a regular user of our Quote search page, you know it’s not the ideal search—it works well for simple keyword searches, but finding a quotation you’re looking for isn’t always easy.

I’m working on a long-awaited list of improvements to our search feature. I don’t have the new search running yet, but I’ll make it available as a test for a week or two before it replaces the current version.

In the meantime, here’s your chance help shape the future of this site. If you’ve recently searched for a quotation, or if there’s one you’re looking for now—how did your search go? What would you like to see work differently? Do you usually search for particular things, or are you just browsing for inspiration or for a laugh?

You can leave a comment here, or as always, contact us by email. Thanks for your time!

We realize that this is inconvenient, but this step was necessary because this site is very popular and an attractive target to spammers.
