i can't remember the exact wording of this quote....if anyone knows it please help me out. it has been nawing at my brain for days now.

'Remember where you come from' is common advice from parents to children.

Here's a recent example, so it may not be original;

i really don't know how it is worded but it goes something like this....remember where you come from so you know where you are going or some mess like that.
