Spam is not my first choice in canned meats but I eat in on occasions that aren't necessarily special.

The Underwood Devil on Underwood Deviled ham is billed to be the oldest trademark logo (still in use) in the USA. (As per the link above.) I had never tried Underwood Deviled Ham until one month ago. It may be because they didn't sell it at the grocery store in Mclemoresville, Tennessee (or it may be that my Mom refused to buy a product with a Devil on the label). The UD ham spread is so good that I have been having dreams (in my sleep) about eating it. It is little wonder to me that Mr. Underwood made a fortune on it. The Queen said they had UD ham on picnics when they were growing up but she had never brought a can home from the super market. Recently, I have been buying about two or three cans each week and putting two cans in the cupboard.
