I know what you mean. Its pretty grim when you're about the house on your own. I've just got back to uni and I'm stuck in my halls of residence with very little to do and few people to talk to/see. It does get you down a bit.
Best bet is to open a bottle of whiskey and drink away your sorrows....or give some friends a call and go to the cinema or sommat.

it is normal to fear being lonely for the rest of ur life,but when u learn to defeat ur fear,u become a noble,i think.

I know what you mean. But you can't know what the waters are like without testing them. In my life I don't expect to be alone forever, even if these school days I spend alone without friends, so that doesn't make me completely depressed. It's hard to find someone that wants to hang out, but once I find that person, I have a great time.

It IS an interesting notion.
Under certain conditions, one can feel lonely whilst surrounded by people. Under other conditions, one can be satisfied with only one's own company and not feel lonely at all, though he is the only person in the room.
Loneliness is a state of mind.

I can think of plenty of times when I was in a group and felt lonely. Fifth wheel. Left out. Don't relate to any of this kids.
