I request those who are knowledgeable to talk about Robert Frost's poem 'stopping by the woods on a snowy evening", especially in connection with the lines :

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep."

I noticed your post and had a quick look for information about the poem, and the poet, on the Internet. There was quite a lot of information and the impression I had was that there was no single correct interpretation of the lines you have quoted.
One could argue the "best" interpretation lay in the mind, or imagination, of the reader.

It simply means that responsibilities must come before pleasure.

I could be mistaken here, but it sounds as if you believe you are giving the definitive answer to the question about the meaning of the lines quoted from Robert Frost's poem.
You have given one possible interpretation.
