Quotations and Literature Forum

Hello!

I'm looking for novels, poetry, short stories etc. that have some reference to the Bible, preferably to specific stories in the bible.

I already know some of the more obvious choices, like Paradise Lost, or Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale. but I'm interested in finding some more, maybe less known literature
