Hi, I have to do a paper about children' fairy tales containing religious symbols. For example, the Selfish Giant has a character, a little boy, who seems to be Jesus Christ as he takes the Giant to the Paradise.
Could you help me with other examples please?

Thanks!

The Peasant in Heaven which is a Grimms fairy tale is based on the Christian religion but doesnt use symbols to represent it .The tale directly talks of religious and moral matters . This particular example may be of little use to you as it was something more symbolic you were looking for but it may be of some help to you to know that some of their stories have religious material in them so it is not out of the bounds of possibility that they have probably many stories with religion as a base and some that fill the criteria you are looking for . happy hunting and I will be back in touch if I find a more fitting example for you . hope this has helped a little :)
